Softly slow waves break; I lay silent in the sea. That ancient give and take; watch the high waters recede. An unseen force is calling, now it’s got a hold on me. Hook set, I’m ripped from the fray, now my head’s in the clouds in my coffee.

If you do what you want when you don’t think that anyone can see, you’re halfway there already.

Now I draw scenes on the cave; stoke the fire so the shadows leave; a veil of ignorance lifted from eyes that could barely see. A thirsty horse will drink from the water if you let it take the lead. Brush dances on canvas; the hand that commands it becomes deity.

If you do what you want when you don’t think that anyone can see, you’re halfway there already.

I try to peel the sleep back from my eyes. As the light hangs right above me I begin to realize that the road that lies before leads me away from the night where I’d once slept quite so comfortably. Lucid, awake, I began to dream.

If the shakes don’t help you to shoot straight fear is not an option. See? You’re halfway there already. If you do what you want when you don’t think that anyone can see, you’re halfway there.
